Adjectives,
which are words that describe nouns or pronouns, can also be used to make
comparisons between different nouns or pronouns.
形容词能够润饰名词或代词，也能够用于比较不同的名词或代词。
When
an adjective is used to compare two
objects, you use the comparative form of the adjective.
The comparative form is usually
formed by adding an "er" to the adjective.
形容词用于比较两个事物时，能够用形容词的比较级。比较级通常在形容词后加"er"
。
When
an adjective is used to compare three
objects, you use the superlative form of the adjective.
The superlative form is usually
formed by adding an "est" to the adjective.
用于比较三个事物时，能够用形容词的第一流。第一流通常在形容词后加"est"。
When
an adjective has more than one
syllable, the comparative and superlative forms are made by adding "more"
(comparative) or "most" (superlative) in front of the adjective.
假如形容词有两个或两个以上的音节，比较级和第一流要在形容词前别离加上"more"和"most"。
There
